You must enable cookies to use WebAssign.
A cookie is a data file that a web site writes to
your computer when you visit that
site. Our cookie file contains your username and school and your
password. This
information is used to identify who you are when you make a request
to WebAssign.
If we did not use this cookie, you would have to
log in every time you requested
your homework assignment or every time you wanted to submit your
assignment for
grading.
If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting
cookies, you will receive
the warning message each time you want information from WebAssign
that pertains to
your records. WebAssign requires the use of cookies in order to
guarantee our
strict security standards.
After you log out of WebAssign, the cookie is deleted.
Instructions for enabling cookies in Netscape 7.0
and higher
1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu
2. Click the Advanced category
3. Click Accept all cookies
4. Click OK to accept this change
Instructions for enabling cookies in Internet Explorer
4.0 or higher
1. Select Internet Options from the Tools
menu
2. Click the Security tab
3. With Internet selected click Custom Level
4. Scroll down to the Cookies section
5. Click Enable in the Allow per-session cookies (not stored)
6. Click OK to accept this change
7. Click OK to close the Internet Options window
