New & Improved for Version 4.0!
Announcements
As
an instructor, you can now post announcements to your students alerting
them about any news that you may have for the class. Students will
see current announcements when they log into the system.
Message Forum
New
to version 4.0 of Webassign is a Message Forum. When this option
is enabled, your students can discuss specific questions about an
assignment for peer review. This tool allows many students to work
together on concepts while still having individual sets of randomized
problems.
E-mail
WebAssign
provides instant e-mail notification, so you can e-mail one student,
a group of students, or your entire class quickly and easily with
a click of the mouse. This is a great way to keep in touch with
your students and get the word out about an assignment, quiz, or
test.
Help Desk
One of WebAssign's most important features is
the help desk. When this option is enabled, your students can submit
specific questions about an assignment to the help desk for your
review. Their queries will include the exact question, a record
of the student's answer, and the correct answer. This allows you
or your TA to easily assess the problem and better guide the student
toward a correct solution.
