Rescore Across Sections

We have just released a much-requested feature for multi-section classes: the ability to rescore an assignment across multiple sections at once.

In the past, if you modified an assignment that is scheduled to multiple sections (or modified questions on such an assignment) you would have had to go to each section's score page and click "rescore" separately.

Now, when you go to the score page for any section and click "rescore" you will see a new set of options, called "Rescore Other Sections".

From here, specify which additional sections you'd like the rescore to apply to, and proceed as normal.

The rescore will then update the scores for students in all of the specified sections.

You may choose to rescore for all sections of the course, or explicitly set which sections to rescore.

This feature should save instructors of large, multi-section courses time when needing to rescore an assignment. We hope you find it useful!
