We have just released the much requested automatic extensions feature.

If you would like to try out automatic extensions, go to your Communication Home page for your class and click "extension settings". (Extension settings apply for each class; if you have a multiple section course, you will need to modify settings for each section.)

If you do not wish to allow your students automatic extensions, you do not need to do anything. Your current state of extension requests, enabled or disabled, will remain unchanged. If you currently have (manual) extension requests enabled, your students will continue to have access only to manual extension requests.
