WebAssign partners with leading academic publishers to provide an extensive selection of science and math textbooks for both secondary and higher education. Materials available through WebAssign include questions, exercises, problems, simulations, videos, and tutorials. Materials that are printed in the textbook, such as end-of-chapter questions, are reproduced on WebAssign with only minor adaptations for use on the web:
- Same terminology and wording
- Same variables
- Same sequence
- Same figures and pictures
Textbook questions can be modified, if needed. Numeric values are randomized so each student receives a slightly different version of the question. Concerned that a particular question might be too difficult for students? Before assigning the problem, check WebAssign for real-time statistics on the number of students worldwide who have attempted the question and the number that input the correct answer on the first submission, second submission, and so on.
Enhanced content, such as simulations, videos, and tutorials, is provided by the publisher and integrates seamlessly with the printed text.
Search WebAssign's extensive textbook collection to find the content available for your favorite text. WebAssign lists exactly which questions are available, and which (if any) are currently under development. Need a question that is not yet coded? Just ask. For each textbook, you'll also find a link to a sample assignment so you can see exactly how WebAssign will work for your students, including questions, grading, feedback, hints, and a sample of the eBook (if available).
