Authentication
Allow students to use the same username and password on your school's network and on WebAssign. When a student logs into WebAssign, we ask your school's password server to tell us if the login information is correct. Using this approach means that instructors do not have to keep track of student usernames and passwords, and students only need to manage one password. Authentication is provided via Blackboard, Shibboleth, or a custom solution.
Class Rolls
Linking your school's registration and records systems to WebAssign ensures that your class rolls are automatically uploaded to WebAssign every night. When students add and drop classes WebAssign is updated as well, and students can be sure that they get the correct assignments from the correct class. Synchronization of class rolls is provided via Blackboard, Shibboleth, or a custom solution.
Customized School Site
WebAssign can create a customized entry point with your school's colors and logo. Take the opportunity to include links to other relevant information so students can have all the resources they need at their fingertips.
